Artist's Description

It's fairly futile to try to add something new about the US Navy Blue Angels. One of the best flight demonstration teams in the world, they continue to wow the crowd wherever they go with their high speed aerial antics, often flown in such close proximity (one I've heard is 18 inches from each other!!!) that one cannot help but be amazed. If the "Blues" are on the playbill, you can bet it'll be an enjoyable time.

I managed to grab this close up at San Francisco's Fleet Week. The Diamond elected to scream right by my perch, a shot that was impossible to miss. The precision station-keeping on the lead is clearly obvious, so impressive that I cannot fault them for the absence of the #4 jet (I guess down for maintenance).

Here's hoping you enjoy your little stay in my...
