Artist's Description

That's the old saying, yes? See a shooting star, make a wish? Well, I hope this crowd made theirs as Gregory "Wired" Colyer streaked by the Marina Green in his "Ace Maker".

A trainer variant of the F-80, the T-33 Shooting Star first flew in 1948 and saw a lengthy career as a pilot-maker.
