Description
Definitely not a escret that I love the approach to landing phase of flying. From a pilot's perspective, I can appreciate the skills needed to hand-fly a plane to the runway. From a photographer's viewpoint, the plane is a predictable subject that I can aim my lens at.
And then there's that part of me that can get a little melancholy about a thing that is leaving the element is was made to exist in. Planes are obviously flying machines and are meant be amongst the clouds.
Such was the thought in my head when I looked thru my viewfinder at this 747. The clouds and overall lighting highlight where it has been for many an hour. If not for the pesky notion of HAVING to drop off passengers where they paid to go (and fuel considerations... Lol), I can easily see this plane go to full power and climb back to where it belongs.
