There's very little I can say about this picture - it pretty much speaks for itself. The film "Cars" was immensely popular, so much so that there wasn't only a sequel, but a number of television episodes and an airline-themed spinoff.
What I will say is that when I see this particular Alaska Airlines 737, it always brings a smile to my face.
It was important that I shot this picture at a slow shutter speed to give that distinct sense of speed - Lightning and the gang certainly zipped around in both films, and their host plane is certainly moving! But a friend of mine suggested that the guys on the back looked like "backseat drivers" on the jet they're painted on. Yeah... I like that!!!
