Description
There's something just gorgeous about a stunt plane leaving a billowing smoke trail in it's wake. Perhaps it's the way it contrasts against a blue sky. Maybe it's just clear evidence of a pilot at play. I don't know... All I know is that it's a delight to behold, and even more a delight to photograph.
I never heard of Dave Mathieson until I watched his demonstration at SF Fleet Week today, but it's a name I won't soon forget. The smoke trails he left behind his MX2 bellied the tremendous skill this pilot has in making a plane do things that us mere mortals could only dream of doing.
