Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The physics of stopping 250 tons of airliner is simply jaw-dropping. We're already talking about a incredibly amount of weight here, but when you couple that weight with the typical approach speed of better than 150 miles per hour, then you just have to blink. It's a testament to the marvels of engineering that such planes have the ability to be brought safely to a stop on a regular basis.
I love "Stopping Power" here for the fact that we can visually see the forces that are slowing down this 747. Normally, invisible, the thrust directed forward by the four turbofans in reverse are kicking up a massive amount of spray from the wet runway. The mist swirls behind the aircraft as it slows from the combined power of thrust and sixteen wheel brakes, working in concert to stop the plane within the easy distance of approximately a mile. If need be, the pilots could've stopped this beast in a lot shorter a length.
Aviation is a passion of mine... always has been. And photography is a means of sharing that passion with others. If I'm not flying a plane or sitting in one, then I'm likely training a lens towards it. While I've flown planes for only a fraction of my life, I've always considered myself a pilot. And pilots love sharing their experiences with others. It's easy to tell others how to takeoff, but only when I pass on that sense of joy that I feel of breaking Earth's surly bonds do most people understand why I love doing what I do. That's what I try to do with my photos. Besides proximity, I aim to convey a story or stir up the emotions within the viewer when they gaze upon my work.
