Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Like most things in this world, aviation is an evolution. From the second the Wright Flyer took to the air, the name of the game was how to improve upon that design, and every subsequent one that followed. It could be the quest for something faster, or perhaps it’s all about doing it more efficiently.

And for the Airbus A380, it’s all about sheer size!

When the A380 came onto the aviation scene, it set a whole new bar. First flown in 2005, the nose-to-tail double decker eclipsed its chief rival, the 747-400, by a wide margin. With a maximum gross takeoff weight of one point three MILLION pounds and able to carry over 800 passengers in a single class configuration, the massive airliner instantly seized the title of being the largest purpose-built airliner ever to take to the skies.

That size becomes rather apparent in this picture that I took recently of an Emirates A380 comes in for landing at San Francisco. Its massive bulk gives it an almost impervious aur...
