Artist's Description
It is no mystery that a large aircraft like a widebody airliner generates tremendous amounts of turbulence. Rushing air exposed to the plane's various surfaces and the generation of lift itself virtually guarantees that the air will be disturbed as the aircraft passes thru it. Normally invisible, it is very much a real threat to any plane that might happen upon it. The rough air can easily shake a plane, and the invisible vorticies (think horizontal tornadoes) can flip one upside down faster than a pilot can say those words.
Although "normally" invisible, certain conditions can afford an observer to actually see the disturbance of air it passes thru. Fog is one such medium, and this 767 is raising up a storm in its wake. The clouds kicked around by the windstorm created by this Boeing has created numerous visible vortexes.
Vortex is the B&W counterpart to "From Boeing With Love".
About Alex Esguerra

That's what I try to do with my photos. Besides proximity, I aim to convey a story or stir up the emotions within the viewer when they gaze upon my work. Here's hoping you enjoy your little stay in my...
