If I had to pick a term that would describe US Airways, it would be Odyssey - a long wandering or voyage usually marked by many changes of fortune. From it's beginnings as All American Aviation Inc., the company spent nearly eight decades working hard to service the public. Often expanding itself, it occasionally stumbled, nearly going out of business ten years ago. A merger with America West Airlines brought it back from the brink, and ever since then, the larger, repolished result has flourished.
So much so has it's success been that in 2012, the company opted to merge with then-in-trouble American Airlines. Of course, that action relegated the US Airways brand to pasture; the two companies opted to keep the American image as they press forward.
Using their last motto as the image's title, I see "Fly With US" (yes, I intentionally capitalized both letters in "US", the IATA Code for US Airways) as a fitting portrait for the airline in question. The light is waning, b...
